Lannis Hall, MD, MPH, a professor of clinical radiation oncology at WashU Medicine and medical director of radiation oncologist at Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, has been honored with the 2026 Guardian Angel Award: Wind Beneath Our Wings by The Empowerment Network, a nonprofit dedicated to patient advocacy, support and education.
The award recognizes Hall’s impact on and care for prostate cancer patients and survivors. Her dedication, expertise and unwavering commitment to her patients continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many, the Network said in its announcement:
“To so many of our survivors and their families, Dr. Hall has been much more than an exceptional physician, she has been a source of unwavering hope, guidance and strength during their most challenging days. Her tireless advocacy, compassionate care and dedication to saving lives truly make her the ‘wind beneath our wings.’ ”
Hall will receive the award at the Network’s 2026 Prostate Cancer Awareness Luncheon Gala on Sept. 26.
She also is vice chair of the Clinical Research Committee, director of Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Research and the clinical trials leader of the Program to Eliminate Cancer Disparities (PECaD) at Siteman Cancer Center.
