Siteman Cancer Center partners with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to provide specialized cancer care for children and young adults through Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Our specialists, our research, and our services bring families to Siteman Kids for pediatric cancer care.
Siteman Kids is in the heart of the Washington University Medical Campus where our youngest patients have access to the world-class care of WashU Medicine physicians. Here children and young adults are given the most advanced medical treatments along with a compassionate, family-centered experience.

Because Siteman Kids is a part of Washington University’s Medical Campus, families are within walking distance of many other amenities at surrounding Siteman Cancer Center facilities.
Proton therapy takes place on the first floor of the Euclid Garage, across from the Center for Advanced Medicine. To access the Kling Center, patients can park within the garage, take a short elevator ride, and step into the space.
Visitors can wait in a private waiting area as their loved ones receive treatment. Amenities like cafes, business centers, and more are all within walking distance of the Kling Center. The nearest Siteman Cancer Center facilities are in the Gary C. Werths Building and the Center for Advanced Medicine.

S. Lee Kling Proton Therapy Center Tour | Siteman Cancer Center
S. Lee Kling Proton Therapy Center is located on the Washington University Medical Campus and treats adult and pediatric patients. Patients receive precise treatment from one of our two proton beam therapy machines there. Learn what to expect during a visit to the center.
Depending on the care they need, patients who need to be hospitalized may be admitted to Parkview Tower on the Washington University Medical Campus for inpatient care. Inpatient care is also provided at Barnes-Jewish Plaza Tower. Parkview Tower offers patients privacy during their treatment with over 100 private rooms and a dedicated set of intensive care unit rooms for those patients preparing for stem cell transplants.
Siteman recognizes that our inpatients’ needs are unique, so their loved ones’ needs are too. To better support families, we opened the Parkview Family Lounge. The Family Lounge is located on the second floor of Parkview Tower and brings families of patients together in a homey environment. The space makes families day-to-day lives easier, providing:
Living room for relaxing and entertainment
Kitchen and dining area to share meals
Showers and laundry for more comfort during visits
Business center to get work done
The Lounge is open every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers many essentials like laundry detergent and towels.
Barnes-Jewish Plaza Tower
Sometimes patients at Siteman Cancer Center are admitted to Barnes-Jewish Plaza Tower, also known as Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The facility is located on the south side of Washington University Medical Campus, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza Drive and South Kingshighway Boulevard.
The Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) at Siteman Cancer Center offers radiology services and testing to Siteman patients and also houses WashU Medicine physician’s offices. Known to many as “the CAM,” the facility is located on the Washington University Medical Campus at the southwest corner of Forest Park Avenue and Euclid Avenue .
Most patients coming to the CAM will visit one of the following locations:
Gynecologic Oncology: Take elevators to Floor 13. The gynecologic oncology office is in suite C.
Mammography: Take elevators to Floor 5 to find the Joanne Knight Breast Health Center, suite 5D
Radiation Oncology: Take elevators down to the lower level.
Radiology and Imaging: Registration takes place on Floor 3

At the registration desk a staff member will direct you to the appropriate floor and suite.
The CAM is located within the Washington University Medical Campus. The WashU Medicine medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and surgeons at the CAM also work at Siteman’s satellite locations and collaborate regularly. These doctors practice multidisciplinary care, coordinating schedules with their colleagues so patients can see multiple physicians in one trip and have their entire treatment plan determined in one visit.
Our CAM care team includes registered nurses with specialized training in caring for cancer patients. A research coordinator is also available to talk with patients about possible participation in clinical trials, which provide access to new medications and treatments not available at most cancer centers.

The Center for Advanced Medicine offers valet parking next to the main entrance. For those who prefer to park in a garage, the Euclid Garage has multi-level parking. An enclosed pedestrian walkway on the third floor leads into the facility. Once inside the CAM, dedicated elevators for Siteman Cancer Center patients bring them to their appointment floors.

The Gary C. Werths Building at Siteman Cancer Center opened for patient care in 2024. The Werths building design simplifies the experience of patients as they receive outpatient care. It offers a dedicated garage, floors dedicated by cancer type that house labs and consultation rooms, infusion services and more. Because the garage is integrated into the building, elevators are able to bring patients directly to the floor where they have an appointment. Valet services are not offered in this garage, though the ease of parking provides for a better overall experience. Patient drop-off also is available at the main entrance on the ground floor.

Welcome to the Gary C. Werths Building at Siteman Cancer Center
Welcome to Siteman Cancer Center on the Washington University Medical Campus at the Gary C. Werths Building located at 4500 Forest Park Ave.
Visitors to the Werths Building can park in the attached garage. Take the elevator directly to the floor of your appointment. Each floor has designated slots for handicap parking and wheelchairs in the parking vestibuiles for visitors’ use.
There is a patient drop-off location on the ground floor.
Many of our locations offer valet services, but because the nearest garage is a part of the Werths Building, valet parking isn’t offered. Instead, use the patient drop off on the ground floor or park and take the elevator right to your specific floor.
There are several places patients can receive imaging and radiation therapy on the Washington University Medical Campus, including the Werths Building. If you are receiving imaging or radiation therapy, your care team will help you navigate where you should go on campus for your appointment.
The eighth floor of the Werths Building has radiology and imaging for patients.
In addition to that, the Center for Advanced Medicine also houses radiology services including imaging and radiation therapy. The CAM is a short walk from the Werths Building. Proton therapy takes place in its own location within the S. Lee Kling Proton Therapy Center.

The Werths building contains a gift shop with refreshments, a vending area on P4, and a Kaldi’s coffee shop with food and beverage options.
