Laura Susic
Laura is an Emmy and Telly-award-winning producer with 25 years of experience in the video production industry. She began her career in local news producing award-winning newscasts in Columbia, MO, Cleveland, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and back at home in St. Louis, MO. Since 2007, she has worked as a freelance writer, producer, executive producer, talent, and content creator on countless projects ranging from nationally syndicated shows and commercials to corporate marketing videos and live stream events. Most recently, Laura took on the role of Co-Host and Producer of the podcast, “This is Cancer.”
Patrick Shafer
Patrick is an Emmy Award winning media specialist with over 15 years of experience in scripted and unscripted television, commercials, corporate media, documentary filmmaking, and podcast producing. His career has led him to more than 25 countries. Frequent roles include director of photography, drone pilot, writer, editor, producer, (reluctant) on-camera talent, and now podcast host! His family history and personal struggles against cancer makes the podcast, “This is Cancer,” a true passion project.
