Research Interest
As a orthopedic oncologist I care for patients with benign and malignant bone, muscle, and connective tissue tumors. I have a particular interest in pediatric sarcomas and the surgical management of skeletal metastases. My scientific background is in tumor immunology and I am particularly interested in studying how tissue-specific immune responses are orchestrated to promote or prevent cancer metastasis. I am hopeful that these studies will lead to new strategies for the treatment of metastatic sarcoma.
