Research Interest
My interest focuses on Type 3 Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC3) present at mucosal sites. The cell type depends on the transcription factor Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR) for development, maintenance and function. I’m interested in understanding whether AHR ligands (agonist/antagonist) modulate ILC3 during obesity and whether this affects colon cancer development.
