Research Interest

Ginny Schulz, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a clinical interest in stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. Her research focuses on pediatric and family health communication and treatment decision making. She aims to develop and implement youth- and family-centered health communication interventions to improve treatment management and health outcomes. She is currently focusing on a family-level intervention to increase youth involvement in treatment decision-making. Research methods of interest to her include application of a family science lens and mixed methods approaches.
