The Gold Thread: Childhood Cancer Survivor Program
The Gold Thread support group is open to adults 18 or older who are childhood cancer survivors. The group strives to bring together childhood cancer survivors to expand social connections, share experiences, and learn from experts about the latest long-term follow up physical and mental health care practices in an effort to achieve healthy habits. Each meeting includes dinner and a program.
Program Details
Meeting Dates: 3rd Tuesday of the month, every other month
In-Person Dates:
- September 15, 2026
- November 17, 2026
Where: Siteman Cancer Center – South County Conference Room
Time: 5:30 p.m. dinner & social hour. 6 – 7 p.m. programming.

Join Rochelle Hobson, RN, MSN, CHPN, Manager of the Siteman Survivorship Program, for a relaxed evening of good conversation, creative reflection, and focus on letting go and moving forward. This is a chance to check in with yourself, share space with others, and reflect on what helps you feel grounded.
The meeting will be held via Zoom. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting.
Please bring:
- Markers, pens, or colored pencils (whatever you have available)
- One 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of paper
