Research Interest
A major research focus in my lab is the development and application of novel quantitative optical approaches that can be used to measure cellular function in living specimen with ever increasing sensitivity. Current methods allow measurements spanning the range from single molecules to human patients on time scales from picoseconds to days or longer. We have a long-standing interest in molecular imaging of cancer cell heterogeneities.
