Research Interest

T cell engineering is a type of immunotherapy that involves delivering synthetic proteins to T cells to manipulate their function in combating cancer. Given that protein function is intricately linked to its molecular structure, careful design of these synthetic proteins is crucial for the effectiveness of engineered T cells to achieve desired clinical outcomes. I worked on developing a type of synthetic receptors that combine the advantages of flexible antigen targeting with full TCR complex functionality. My long-term goal is to understand how immune proteins function in structural details and apply this knowledge to develop novel strategies for cell therapies against cancer.
