Funding for Siteman Members
The Siteman Investment Program (SIP) Research Development Award (RDA) is designed to award pilot funding to faculty investigators to support pioneering cancer research and produce data to leverage further external peer reviewed funding.
The American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant (ACS-IRG) supports junior faculty conducting cancer research pilot projects to obtain preliminary results that will enable them to compete successfully for national research grants. Applicants who are not already Siteman Cancer Center members must apply for membership at the time of submission of their application.
The Center for Drug Discovery (CDD) and the Siteman Cancer Center partnered to create a new grant program. The $25,000 QuikSTARTs are designed to advance the translation of new discoveries in cancer disease biology into small molecule therapeutics. Offered two to three times per year, the grants will aid in generating preliminary data that may lead to full grant proposals and extramural funding. Grants are open to all WashU faculty (Assistant professor and above) holding Siteman Cancer Center membership.
